Boulder, Baby.
Sorry about the delay in this posting... unemployment is keeping me rather busy. Okay, I'm lying. I'm just lazy.
I spent the week following Sara's wedding out in Boulder, cat-sitting for the fine felines pictured at left. It was also a chance to hang out with the Rocky Mtn. contingent of the Smith family--including my brand new shiny cousin, Jack. He and his big sis, Ellie, are about the cutest little people ever. Uncle Chris took me on some death-defying trail runs, characterized by steep hills and not nearly enough oxygen. No mountain lions though, which is sort of too bad.I had the chance to catch up with my good friend Dave (from Colby) and his wife, who I hadn't seen since their wedding a year earlier. I also spent some time people-watching on Pearl Street and some time prairie-dog watching on the trails near Sara's house. Both fascinating.
Perhaps the best thing to come of out this trip is a new footwear obsession... yeah, I got Crocs. They are butter-yellow and I'm wearing 'em right now. And, yes, I know this is some stupid hipster trend... yes, I know they are hideously ugly. I don't care.

I'm pretty sure you forgot to mention the beautiful pink flamingo that adorns your yellow crocs. Does that make them better or worse??
