SF Trip
Sorry, I am really delayed in getting things posted... something about having a couple hundred pages of reading a night... plus all the other fun stuff happening in my life. More on that later.
I just wanted to throw up a couple pics from my trip to San Francisco in September. I was there to attend the wedding of Amir and Sigalle, two of my friends from my Israel year. I have fond memories of a few months spent on the kibbutz, working hard in the kitchen/date trees and hanging out in our little apartment. We ate a lot of watermelon and played a lot of sheshbesh. Despite the inopportune wedding date--the weekend between orientation and the beginning of classes--I was really happy to be able to witness their marriage.I also had the chance to visit with Lindsey and Eric,
other SF-based friends. Lindsey is happily installed in Berkeley and seems to have a much better handle on this back-to-school thing than I do. She indulged me in my desire to see big trees--we spent an afternoon hiking around Muir Woods and hugging redwoods. I stayed at Eric and Maggie's fantastic apartment in the Haight the next night and Eric and I wandered around the park and looked at all the funny people. I took a red-eye back after the Sunday night wedding and arrived just in time for convocation. No problem.
